About the Role

The Nurse Practitioner position at Sunrise Group is a unique opportunity to deliver exceptional sleep care as part of a dynamic and rapidly expanding clinical team. Reporting directly to the Medical Director, you will be at the forefront of shaping patient health outcomes and quality of life through comprehensive sleep medicine care. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include screening, diagnosing, and treating patients struggling with sleep issues, all while ensuring seamless service delivery and optimal patient satisfaction.

As part of the Dreem Health team, you will be working in a state-of-the-art digital sleep clinic, leveraging technology to provide personalized care to patients across the United States. What You Will Do

  • Provide comprehensive sleep medicine care via telemedicine to patients across the United States
  • Thoroughly document patient interactions using a customized Electronic Health Record (EHR) system
  • Apply appropriate billing procedures for services rendered
  • Participate in quality control and improvement activities to ensure the highest standards of care
  • Return patient messages and calls in a timely fashion to maintain open lines of communication
  • Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities as necessary
  • Keep current with and follow American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM) guidelines and clinic medical protocols in your clinical care and decisions
  • Identify areas for improvement and contribute to service enhancements, showcasing your proactive and innovative thinking
  • Work closely with the internal team to ensure a cohesive and patient-centered approach to care

What We Are Looking For

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in direct patient care
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in sleep or sleep medicine (required for candidates wishing to start within one month)
  • Strong clinical skills and the ability to work independently in a telemedicine setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients, providers, and internal teams
  • Empathy and understanding of patients' needs, with a patient-focused approach to care
  • Proactive, innovative thinker with the ability to identify areas for improvement and contribute to service enhancements
  • Critical thinking skills to challenge the status quo and continuously improve the delivery of care
  • Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing circumstances, environments, tasks, and requirements
  • Familiarity with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and proficiency in Excel
