## About the Role As a Nurse Practitioner at SteadyMD, you will be part of a dynamic team providing urgent care telehealth services to a diverse patient population. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include conducting video and phone evaluations, as well as asynchronous communication with patients. You will have the flexibility to work remotely, with a minimum of 10 hours per week, and have the opportunity to make a significant impact on patients' lives. The company values diversity and inclusivity, and you can expect to work in a culture that promotes respect, empathy, and understanding. ## What You Will Do - Conduct video and phone evaluations with patients, including scheduled and on-demand appointments - Provide urgent care treatment for various conditions, such as seasonal allergies, cold/flu symptoms, and more - Engage in asynchronous communication with patients, including secure messaging and email - Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, taking into account patients' medical history, symptoms, and preferences - Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and optimal patient outcomes - Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date with the latest medical guidelines and best practices - Utilize electronic health records (EHRs) to document patient information, including medical history, medications, and treatment plans - Provide patient education and support, including health promotion and disease prevention - Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes - Maintain accurate and timely records, including patient charts and billing information ## What We Are Looking For - Active licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in at least five states, with at least three of those states being AZ, WA, PA, MN, CA, TX, or NY - Board certification as FNP, AGNP, or ACNP by the ANCC or AANP - Minimum of five years of post-graduate independent practice experience - Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals - Comfort with technology, including electronic health records (EHRs) and telehealth platforms - Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to make sound judgments and decisions - Compassionate and patient-centered approach, with a commitment to providing high-quality, evidence-based care - Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, and as part of a team ## Nice to Have - Experience with telemedicine or virtual care - Certification in a specialty area, such as pediatrics or gerontology - Experience with quality improvement initiatives and patient safety protocols - Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to mentor and support other healthcare professionals ## Benefits and Perks - Flexible remote work options, with a minimum of 10 hours per week - Competitive hourly rate, with opportunities for professional growth and development - Comprehensive malpractice insurance coverage, including tail coverage - Ongoing education and training opportunities, including CME credits and certification programs - Collaborative and supportive work environment, with a commitment to diversity and inclusivity - Opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patients' lives, with a focus on patient-centered care
