About the Role

The Offsite Recommendations Strategist is a key member of Constructor's growing team, responsible for activating, performing, and driving revenue growth of the company's AI-powered email recommendations offering. This role requires a unique blend of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and client-facing skills. As the company expands its personalization and messaging capabilities, the Offsite Recommendations Strategist will play a critical role in helping retail and ecommerce clients design, launch, and scale high-performing recommendation-driven email programs.

The Offsite Recommendations Strategist will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Account Management, Customer Success, Solutions, and Marketing, to ensure seamless onboarding and activation of offsite recommendations. This role involves partnering with clients to guide them through ESP integrations, feed setup, and recommendation placement in email templates, as well as advising on high-impact email use cases.

What You Will Do

  • Own onboarding and activation for offsite recommendations, partnering with cross-functional teams
  • Guide clients through ESP integrations, feed setup, and recommendation placement in email templates
  • Advise on high-impact email use cases, including promotional campaigns, browse and cart abandonment, post-purchase and replenishment, lifecycle and retention programs
  • Serve as the subject-matter expert on email personalization and recommendations
  • Analyze performance and provide data-driven recommendations to improve CTR, conversion, AOV, revenue per send, and LTV
  • Own revenue growth across a portfolio of customers through upsell, expansion, and new use cases
  • Act as the voice of the customer, influencing product roadmap and go-to-market strategy
  • Collaborate with the Sales team to identify new business opportunities and develop strategic plans to pursue them
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention

What We Are Looking For

  • 1-3 years of hands-on email or lifecycle marketing experience, ideally in ecommerce or retail
  • 3-5+ years of client-facing experience in sales, account management, customer success, or account strategy
  • Strong understanding of ESPs and email ecosystems, segmentation, personalization, and lifecycle strategy
  • Experience working with AI-driven personalization or recommendation systems
  • Proven ability to translate data into insights and business impact
  • Client-facing experience with a consultative, growth-oriented mindset
  • Track record of driving or influencing revenue growth from existing customers
  • Excellent communication skills and comfort working with both operators and executives

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Excel and data analysis tools
  • Knowledge of campaign vs. triggered messaging and testing and performance measurement
  • Familiarity with ecommerce platforms and technologies
