About the Role
As an Onboarding Engineer at Posthog, you will be responsible for designing and implementing efficient onboarding processes for new customers. Your primary goal will be to ensure that customers can quickly and easily integrate Posthog's products into their existing workflows, resulting in high customer satisfaction and retention.Posthog is a product-led company, driven by a strong product-market fit, with over 100,000 companies using their platform. The Onboarding Engineer role is a critical part of the Sales & Customer Success team, reporting to Magda Olszewska. As a key member of this team, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product, and customer success, to identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements.
What You Will Do
- Design and implement efficient onboarding processes for new customers, leveraging Excel for data analysis and process optimization
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements
- Develop and maintain documentation for onboarding processes, including user guides and FAQs
- Work closely with the customer success team to ensure seamless handoffs and high customer satisfaction
- Analyze customer feedback and data to identify trends and areas for improvement
- Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure onboarding success
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in onboarding and customer success
- Participate in the development of the company's overall strategy and goals
- Collaborate with the product team to provide feedback and insights on product development
What We Are Looking For
- 2+ years of experience in a technical role, preferably in onboarding, customer success, or a related field
- Strong proficiency in Excel, with experience in data analysis and process optimization
- Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to work autonomously in a remote environment
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop creative solutions
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a focus on shipping fast and iterating quickly
- Strong collaboration and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies and processes
Nice to Have
