Job Description

About the Role

The Onboarding QC Specialist role at Mercury is a critical component of the company's Risk team, focused on ensuring the accuracy and overall quality of the Onboarding team's work. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for performing regular QC reviews, creating and maintaining process documentation, and providing feedback to improve the Onboarding team's performance. The role requires a strong understanding of onboarding processes, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

The Onboarding QC Specialist will work closely with the Onboarding team to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to enhance the customer experience. This role is ideal for individuals who are highly motivated, enjoy solving complex problems, and are comfortable working in a high-risk environment.

What You Will Do

  • Perform regular QC assessments for the Onboarding team to ensure compliance with current policies and procedures
  • Maintain a strong working knowledge of Onboarding team processes and contribute to planning and implementation of quality-related projects
  • Provide feedback and recommendations to improve performance across the Onboarding team
  • Contribute to regular QC reporting and assist in maintaining QC procedures and process documentation
  • Help to monitor and analyze QC data to identify trends, anomalies, process gaps, and areas for improvement
  • Collaborate with the Onboarding team to develop and implement process improvements
  • Assist in creating and maintaining training resources for the QC team and the Onboarding team
  • Participate in monthly QC meetings to discuss progress and areas for improvement
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in quality control and onboarding processes

What We Are Looking For

  • 2+ years of experience in quality control, onboarding, or a related field
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong understanding of onboarding processes and quality control principles
  • Experience with process documentation and improvement
  • Familiarity with fintech industry and US banking system
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field

Nice to Have

  • Experience with QC software and tools
  • Knowledge of Lean or Six Sigma methodologies
  • Certification in quality control or a related field
  • Experience working in a remote environment
