About the Role

The Online Data Analyst position at TELUS Digital is a part-time, long-term project that offers the chance to work from home and contribute to the development of cutting-edge digital maps. As a member of the TELUS Digital AI Community, you will be part of a vibrant network of over 1 million contributors from diverse backgrounds, all working together to build better AI models. Your day-to-day tasks will involve conducting research and evaluation tasks in a web-based environment, verifying and comparing data, and determining the relevance and accuracy of information.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on a project that aims to enhance the content and quality of digital maps used by millions of people worldwide. You will be working independently, but as part of a larger team, and will have the flexibility to work at your own pace. Your contributions will have a direct impact on the quality of the maps and the user experience of those who rely on them.

What You Will Do

  • Conduct research and evaluation tasks in a web-based environment
  • Verify and compare data to determine relevance and accuracy
  • Work on projects aimed at enhancing the content and quality of digital maps
  • Collaborate with other contributors to build better AI models
  • Utilize online search engines, maps, and website information to conduct research
  • Evaluate and improve the quality of digital content
  • Work on a variety of task types, including maps, news, audio tasks, and relevance
  • Contribute to the development of machine learning models
  • Enhance and localize content to support AI model development

What We Are Looking For

  • Full professional proficiency in the English language
  • Residency in Canada for the last 5 consecutive years
  • Familiarity with current and historical business, media, sport, news, social media, and cultural affairs in Canada
  • Ability to follow guidelines and conduct online research
  • Flexibility to work across a diverse set of task types
  • Daily access to a broadband internet connection, computer, and relevant software
  • Ability to pass a basic assessment process
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills

Nice to Have

  • Experience working on similar projects or in a related field
