The Operations Assistant plays a vital role in the day-to-day operations of Somewhere, a premium detailing company servicing the auto, marine, and aircraft industries. What You Will Do
- Handle all inbound customer inquiries via phone, email, or chat, responding promptly and professionally to all queries
- Convert customer inquiries into booked appointments through confident and consultative communication
- Maintain a structured lead pipeline and follow-up system to ensure consistent conversion rates
- Resolve customer complaints and issues in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
- Schedule and reschedule detailers based on drive time, availability, and job sequencing to ensure efficient service delivery
- Coordinate with detailers in real-time to manage traffic, cancellations, and additional assignments
- Track and log lead pipeline performance, monitoring key metrics to identify areas for improvement
- Manage material inventory and coordinate restocking based on completed job data to minimize waste and optimize efficiency
- Streamline inefficient systems and projects, identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing changes as needed
What We Are Looking For
- Minimum 1 year of customer service experience, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer experiences
- Minimum 1 year of sales experience, with a strong ability to convert leads into booked appointments
- Minimum 2 years of administrative experience, with a high level of organizational and time management skills
- Logistics experience preferred, with a strong understanding of supply chain management and inventory control
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
