About the Role
The Operations Associate role at MiracleFeet is a unique opportunity to join a global nonprofit organization that is working to eliminate one of the leading causes of physical disability worldwide. As a key member of the operations team, you will play a central role in strengthening the systems and processes that enable MiracleFeet's mission. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include providing administrative and IT support to ensure the diverse international team has the tools and resources needed to focus on improving children's lives.MiracleFeet's operations team is responsible for managing the internal infrastructure that supports the organization's global impact. This includes managing IT systems, administrative tasks, and ensuring that the team has the necessary resources to perform their jobs effectively. As an Operations Associate, you will work closely with the Senior Operations Manager and the Director of Finance and Operations to achieve these goals.

What You Will Do
- Open and sort all mail in the Chapel Hill, NC office at least twice a week
- Log check donations into the check log (if local)
- Manage the office copier and other office equipment in coordination with the Senior Executive Assistant
- Serve as primary coverage for the office telephone system
- Assist with the distribution of the MiracleFeet foot abduction brace
- Coordinate with shipping contacts and collect inventory reports
- Serve as primary contact with shipping vendors such as FedEx and DHL
- Execute shipments to and from the office, including braces, laptops, and other items as needed
- Support the Senior Operations Manager with internal tracking of vendor contracts, insurance renewals, organizational policies, and state charitable registrations
- Manage MiracleFeet's SharePoint site and other methods of cross-team document management
What We Are Looking For
- 2+ years of experience in an operations or administrative role
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Experience with IT management, including user account management and troubleshooting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Passion for supporting a mission-driven team
- Experience with SharePoint or other document management systems
- Familiarity with Monday.com, Zoom, DropBox Sign, BambooHR, or similar tools
Nice to Have
- Experience working in a nonprofit organization
- Knowledge of IT best practices and trends
- Certification in ITIL or similar
- Experience with project management tools and software
- Familiarity with global logistics and shipping processes
