About the Role

The Operations Associate role is a critical component of Storyteller's content operations team, responsible for ensuring the accuracy, timeliness, and professionalism of high-volume sports content. This is a fully remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere, with a focus on supporting live sports events and other high-volume publishing periods. As an Operations Associate, you will be working closely with the content, operations, product, and client-facing teams to deliver a best-in-class Stories experience for leading global brands.

The role entails a mix of content checks, support triage, client communication, issue investigation, handovers, and process improvement. You will be expected to work across a range of tasks, from quality-checking visuals, copy, and metadata to spotting and escalating issues, and maintaining clear handovers and incident notes. This is not a passive ticket-taking role; instead, it requires a proactive approach, combining reliability with judgment, and a willingness to use AI and tools intelligently.

What You Will Do

  • Run content operations and support workflows during live sports events and other high-volume publishing periods
  • Quality-check visuals, copy, metadata, links, calls to action, timing, categorization, and brand consistency
  • Spot, describe, and escalate issues clearly before they become client or user problems
  • Triage support requests by gathering evidence, identifying likely causes, and communicating the next action
  • Use AI and internal tools to speed up checks, compare information, draft notes, inspect data, and improve repeatability
  • Maintain clear handovers, incident notes, support updates, and QA records
  • Work with content, operations, product, and client-facing teammates to fix issues quickly and prevent repeats
  • Improve checklists, playbooks, templates, and lightweight automations as you learn what breaks in practice
  • Collaborate with the team to identify areas for process improvement and implement changes
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in the sports and digital media industries
