About the Role

The Operations Consultant role at PNC is a critical position that supports the commercial lending operations team by providing comprehensive loan documentation expertise. This is a remote position, allowing you to work from the comfort of your own home while still being an integral part of a dynamic team. Your day-to-day activities will involve ensuring that new and existing team members understand the requirements and expectations surrounding loan documentation, providing clear guidance aligned with internal legal resources, and supporting day-to-day inquiries and escalations.

In this role, you will report to a senior operations manager who oversees the commercial lending operations team. Your responsibilities will include leading critical operational support, implementing complex services, and overseeing performance and risk indicators. You will also have the opportunity to coach operations process managers and team members, drive change and improvement efforts, and develop and oversee policy changes.

What You Will Do

  • Provide comprehensive loan documentation support to the commercial lending operations team
  • Ensure that new and existing team members understand requirements and expectations surrounding loan documentation
  • Offer clear guidance aligned with internal legal resources
  • Support day-to-day inquiries and escalations
  • Lead critical operational support and implementation of complex services
  • Oversee performance and risk indicators
  • Communicate performance statistics to internal stakeholders and senior management
  • Promote production workflow and oversee escalated process issues
  • Coach operations process managers and team members
  • Drive change and improvement efforts in production and processes
  • Develop and oversee policy change and improvement
