About the Role
The Operations Coordinator role at Hadley Designs is a critical component of the company's growth strategy, sitting at the intersection of cross-functional teams, systems, and leadership. As an Operations Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, clarity, and execution of the product engine, leading the coordination of cross-functional teams to ensure that product launches happen on time, with high quality, and with clear communication across teams. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve project planning and management, team coordination, and process improvement. Hadley Designs is a family-founded brand that is redefining early education through creativity and purpose. The company designs screen-free, beautifully crafted learning tools that help parents and teachers make learning fun, engaging, and meaningful for children. As an Operations Coordinator, you will be working closely with the Chief Creative Officer (CCO) and functional leads across the organization to ensure that product launches align with the company's strategic objectives. The Operations Coordinator role is not a traditional project management role, but rather a strategic partner to the CCO and leadership team. You will be expected to proactively identify risks, resolve blockers, and implement process improvements that strengthen execution over time.What You Will Do
- Own and manage project plans, dependencies, and timelines across teams to ensure that every product launch is executed efficiently and on schedule
- Drive regular check-ins with teams to align efforts, surface risks, and resolve blockers
- Maintain and ensure the accuracy of project management tools such as ClickUp, Airtable, and Box
- Provide clear, concise updates to leadership on project status, potential risks, and next steps to keep the entire organization aligned
- Serve as the trusted execution partner to leadership, ensuring that work moves forward efficiently and effectively
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that product launches happen on time, with high quality, and with clear communication across teams
- Identify opportunities for process improvements that increase efficiency and enhance execution
- Develop and implement strategies to improve the reliability, clarity, and execution of the product engine
- Analyze data and metrics to inform decision-making and drive process improvements
- Work closely with the CCO and functional leads to ensure alignment on priorities, sequencing, and tradeoffs
What We Are Looking For
- 2+ years of experience in operations, project management, or a related field
- Strong judgment and ability to drive decisions independently
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-impact environment
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Experience with project management tools such as ClickUp, Airtable, and Box
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
