## About the Role The Operations Generalist role at Wonderly is an exciting opportunity for early-career professionals to dive into the world of operational management. As a generalist, you'll be tasked with tackling a wide range of operational problems, from customer-facing issues to internal process improvements. Your day-to-day will be dynamic, with the potential to work on anything from onboarding new customers to developing internal tooling. You'll be part of a team that values adaptability, resilience, and a willingness to learn.

The role matters because it directly contributes to Wonderly's mission to revolutionize how service businesses operate. By solving operational challenges, you'll help enable these businesses to reach their full revenue potential. In terms of reporting structure, you'll be working closely with Bishop, the Head of Customer Experience, who will provide guidance and support as you navigate the role. However, the nature of the work means you'll also have autonomy to make decisions and drive projects forward independently.

## What You Will Do - Handle customer-facing tasks, including talking to service business owners, setting them up on the platform, and monitoring their performance.

  • Identify and resolve operational issues, escalating as necessary to ensure timely resolution.
  • Develop and maintain internal tooling and processes to enhance team efficiency.
  • Collaborate with various departments, such as sales, customer ops, and product, to solve problems and implement solutions.
  • Utilize Excel for data analysis, budgeting, and other operational tasks.
  • Build and manage relationships with vendors and partners as needed.
  • Work on improving recruiting funnels, data problems, and other high-leverage tasks.
  • Be adaptable and willing to pivot when priorities change.
  • Develop and implement new processes and procedures to improve operational efficiency.
  • Write SQL queries to extract and analyze data for insights.
## What We Are Looking For - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and outside the box.
  • Proficiency in Excel, with experience in data analysis and budgeting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with both internal teams and external customers.
  • A proactive and adaptable approach, with a strong bias towards action and results.
  • The ability to learn quickly, especially in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Experience in or willingness to learn SQL for data analysis.
  • A degree from a competitive school, or equivalent experience.
  • Leadership experience, such as founding a club or leading a team, is a plus.
  • Familiarity with AI-driven solutions and their applications in business is beneficial.
## Nice to Have - Experience with CRM software and customer relationship management.
  • Knowledge of marketing principles and practices, especially as they relate to service businesses.
  • Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies.
  • Basic coding skills, such as Python or JavaScript, for automation and tool development.
