Operations Manager, Hardware Operations

About the Role

The Caper Cart is a game-changer in the retail industry, offering a seamless grab-and-go experience for customers. With its advanced computer vision technology and user-friendly interface, it is poised to transform the way people shop. As the Operations Manager, you will work closely with the Product team to ensure that the Caper Cart is functioning at optimal levels, providing insights and feedback to drive continuous improvement.

What You Will Do

• Own end-to-end hardware field operations planning and delivery, defining scope, building schedules, and operating cadences
• Align parts and logistics readiness to ensure on-time, high-quality completion of deployments, retrofits, and maintenance and repair work
• Manage day-to-day hardware field operations execution, including daily triage, dispatch, routing, escalations, and quality follow-through
• Partner with Program Managers and the Quality team to close the loop between field execution and product quality
• Analyze operational performance and implement policies, procedures, and systems to improve throughput, quality, and consistency
• Develop and maintain documentation and analytics to support operational decision-making
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and resolve operational issues
• Provide training and support to technicians and other stakeholders as needed
• Develop and manage budgets and forecasts for hardware operations

What We Are Looking For

• 3+ years of experience in operations management, preferably in a hardware or technology-related field
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and drive insights
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Experience with Excel, Google Sheets, and other productivity tools
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high levels of quality and accuracy
• Experience with supply chain management and logistics a plus

Nice to Have

• Experience with AI-powered technology and computer vision
• Familiarity with retail automation and the grocery delivery industry
• Certification in operations management or a related field
• Experience with Agile project management methodologies
