Operations Specialist - Fully Remote

What You Will Do

• Guide research teams to close knowledge gaps and improve AI model performance in operations-related topics
• Design challenging, domain-relevant tasks across multiple specializations to help research teams grow
• Write accurate, well-structured solutions to operations problems
• Evaluate operational tasks and solutions and provide clear, written feedback
• Collaborate with other subject matter experts to ensure consistency and accuracy in training data
• Develop and implement processes to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of research teams
• Provide coaching and mentoring to junior team members to help them develop their skills and expertise
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments in AI research and operations
• Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to the development of the company's strategic goals

What We Are Looking For

• 8+ years of dedicated professional experience in operations leadership at a recognized organization
• Demonstrable career progression into senior operations leadership, such as Operations Manager, Director of Operations, or VP of Operations
• Strong background in digital skills, with experience working with AI research teams or in a related field
• Ability to engage reliably for at least 20 hours/week during weekdays
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to provide clear and concise feedback
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions
• Experience working in a remote team environment, with the ability to work independently and manage your time effectively
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with colleagues and stakeholders

Nice to Have

• Experience working with AI research labs or in a related field
• Certification in a related field, such as operations management or data science
• Experience with project management tools and software, such as Asana or Trello
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and iterative development
