About the Role
As an Operations Specialist I at Doordash, you will be part of a dynamic team that is pushing the boundaries of last-mile logistics. Your primary responsibility will be to monitor autonomous robots and provide remote assistance during night shift operations. This is an entry-level role designed for individuals who are eager to begin their career in remote operations or autonomous systems. What You Will Do
- Monitor autonomous robots using remote assistance tools and dashboards
- Follow step-by-step procedures to support standard operational scenarios
- Escalate technical or operational issues to shift leads or senior operators
- Accurately document observations, incidents, and actions taken
- Follow safety protocols and communication guidelines at all times
- Learn and adapt to new tools, workflows, and process updates
- Collaborate with shift leads and senior operators to resolve complex issues
- Participate in training sessions to develop your skills and knowledge
- Provide feedback and suggestions for improving operational procedures
- Maintain a high level of attention to detail and quality in your work
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in robotics and automation
What We Are Looking For
- High School Diploma, GED, or local equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Proficiency in English (B2 level or higher, written and spoken)
- Basic computer proficiency and comfort using web-based tools
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow defined processes
- Ability to remain calm and professional in live operational environments
- Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new situations
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Nice to Have
- Experience in operations, monitoring, customer support, or technical support
- Familiarity with Google Workspace or Slack
