What You Will Do
- Resolve complex network problems involving power, network hardware and software, lines, modems, and terminals
- Utilize software and hardware tools to identify and diagnose network status and problems
- Conduct complex network monitoring equipment installation and maintenance activities
- Resolve complex trouble tickets and escalate issues as necessary
- Monitor network operations and resolve routine network monitoring problems
- Monitor network performance and conduct routine monitoring equipment installation and maintenance activities
- Resolve routine trouble tickets and escalate issues as necessary
- Work on relatively straightforward installation and maintenance assignments on network switching equipment
- Collaborate with the team to achieve operational goals and objectives
What We Are Looking For
- Associate degree or equivalent education and relevant experience
- 3+ years of related experience in a specific area or equivalent
- Technical certification may be required
- Strong technical skill level working on complex assignments within the network systems installation and maintenance activities
- Knowledge of IP subnetting, IP routing, IPSEC tunnels, IPVPN, and VRRP/HSRP
- Ability to troubleshoot complex network problems
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
