About the Role

The Optimisation Manager role at WIRE IT is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic team of professionals who are passionate about delivering exceptional results in the digital landscape. In this role, you will be working closely with the marketing, product, and development teams to ensure that optimisation strategies are aligned with business objectives. Your expertise in Google Analytics and other optimisation tools will be instrumental in helping the company make data-driven decisions and stay ahead of the competition. What You Will Do

  • Develop and execute comprehensive optimisation strategies to enhance user experience and drive business growth
  • Design, implement, and analyse A/B tests using tools like Optimizely, VWO, or Adobe Target
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to integrate optimisation initiatives with marketing campaigns
  • Work with the product team to implement personalisation initiatives within enterprise CMS platforms
  • Set up custom reports, segments, and event tracking in web analytics suites like Google Analytics
  • Analyse data to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges, and provide actionable recommendations
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in optimisation and A/B testing
  • Provide training and support to team members on optimisation tools and methodologies
  • Develop and maintain documentation of optimisation experiments, results, and lessons learned
  • Collaborate with the development team to ensure that optimisation recommendations are technically feasible

What We Are Looking For

  • 4+ years of experience in optimisation, A/B testing, or a related field
  • Proven hands-on experience with optimisation and A/B testing software
  • Proficiency in setting up custom reports, segments, and event tracking in web analytics suites
  • Experience with content management systems (CMS) and customer data platforms (CDPs)
  • Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and how they affect browser rendering and A/B test implementation
  • Experience with personalisation initiatives and audience data activation
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as computer science, marketing, or statistics

Nice to Have

  • Experience with meta-optimisation tools and platforms
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies and version control systems
  • Knowledge of machine learning algorithms and statistical modeling techniques
  • Certification in Google Analytics or other optimisation tools
  • Experience with cloud-based technologies and distributed computing platforms
