Job Description

About the Role

The Order Management Analyst role is a critical component of Fivetran's Revenue Accounting & Operations team. As an Order Management Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring that customer orders are processed accurately and in compliance with company policies. This will involve working closely with various teams, including Deal Desk, Revenue Accounting, and Systems Engineering, to ensure that orders are properly validated and flow correctly through Fivetran's systems.

The successful candidate will have a strong attention to detail and excellent analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a global team. You will be expected to work outside of normal India business hours to support global business operations, with working hours typically between 9:30 PM and 5:30 AM IST.

What You Will Do

  • Review closed/won opportunities in Salesforce for completeness, accuracy, and policy compliance prior to final booking.
  • Validate key order fields, including contract terms, PO numbers, start/end dates, billing details, SKUs, seat counts, and pricing, across Salesforce and NetSuite.
  • Identify, document, and escalate order issues or missing information, following up with Deal Desk, Sales, Legal, or other stakeholders until resolved.
  • Execute order setup and maintenance tasks, including amendments, renewals, cancellations, and SOWs, and maintain accurate order records and audit trails.
  • Validate outputs from rule-based or AI-assisted reconciliation/validation tools, confirming accuracy and flagging false positives/negatives.
  • Participate in UAT and release testing for new products, SKUs, pricing models, and system/automation changes.
  • Maintain test cases, validation checklists, runbooks, and SOPs on production readiness for order-related changes.
  • Own daily triage of exception queues, blocked orders, and amendment backlogs, driving SLAs for order resolution and documenting root causes.
  • Generate and maintain operational reports, including bookings QA trackers and exception reports.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with global teams.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Strong understanding of order management processes and principles.
  • Experience with NetSuite, Celigo, Jira, Avalara, and Zendesk is a plus.
  • Ability to work flexible hours to support global business operations.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with data analysis and reporting tools, such as Tableau or Power BI.
  • Knowledge of programming languages, such as Python or SQL.
  • Experience with automation tools, such as Celigo or Jitterbit.
  • Certification in Salesforce or NetSuite.
