About the Role

The OSP Program Manager - Long Haul Deployment is a critical role at Zayo Group, responsible for delivering long haul fiber deployment programs safely, on schedule, and within budget. This position combines strategic program leadership with hands-on project execution responsibilities, requiring a unique blend of technical, business, and interpersonal skills. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic team that is driving the growth and expansion of Zayo's network, and will have the opportunity to work with a variety of stakeholders, including turnkey contractors, customers, and internal teams. As a key member of the long haul deployment team, the OSP Program Manager will be responsible for leading the delivery of multiple projects simultaneously, including greenfield, overpull, and network expansion initiatives. This will involve developing and maintaining comprehensive project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource forecasts, as well as monitoring project performance against scope, schedule, budget, and quality objectives. The OSP Program Manager will report to the Director, Long Haul OSP Deployment, and will be expected to provide regular financial and operational updates to leadership and key stakeholders.

What You Will Do

  • Lead the delivery of multiple long haul OSP deployment projects simultaneously
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource forecasts
  • Monitor project performance against scope, schedule, budget, and quality objectives
  • Identify project risks and implement mitigation and recovery plans to maintain delivery commitments
  • Serve as the primary contractual and operational interface with turnkey engineering and construction partners
  • Draft, review, negotiate, and administer engineering and construction contracts
  • Monitor contractor compliance with contractual requirements, milestone commitments, production targets, safety standards, and quality expectations
  • Conduct contractor performance reviews and drive accountability through structured reporting, corrective action plans, and executive escalations when required
  • Review and approve contractor invoices, production reports, schedules, and change orders
  • Manage project budgets, capital expenditures, forecasts, and financial reporting

What We Are Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in program management, preferably in the telecommunications or construction industry
  • Strong knowledge of contract administration, budget management, and risk mitigation
  • Experience with turnkey engineering and construction contracts
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with Salesforce and Excel
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as engineering, business, or construction management
