## What You Will Do - Perform routine troubleshooting calls to identify and resolve service issues efficiently.

  • Conduct surveys and locate cabling to ensure accurate installation and minimal service interruption.
  • Participate in outage repair efforts, including on-call duty and shift work, to maintain high levels of service availability.
  • Engage in tracking and repair of leakage issues in accordance with regulatory standards.
  • Construct and maintain outside plant infrastructure, including splicing aerial and underground cables.
  • Conduct RF tests on cable equipment to ensure signal quality and integrity.
  • Calculate RF signal level losses and gains to optimize system performance.
  • Locate underground plant using system prints and cable-locating equipment to prevent damage.
  • Inspect, repair, and replace damaged or faulty equipment to maintain service quality.
  • Review service requests with customers to ensure understanding and agreement on service delivery.
  • Determine the acceptability of video, data, and voice services post-installation or maintenance.
  • Troubleshoot issues in the forward and return path from the tap to the customer's equipment.
  • Respond to and resolve service interruptions during regular hours or on-call shifts.
  • Complete daily work orders and tickets for each job, ensuring administrative tasks are up-to-date.
  • Inspect existing grounds to ensure compliance with company and safety standards.
  • Install new grounds as required to protect equipment, customers, and employees.
  • Maintain company vehicles and equipment, ensuring they are clean, stocked, and in good working order.
## What We Are Looking For - At least 2-3 years of prior experience in technical roles related to CATV and telecommunications services.
  • Professional certification (e.g., NCTI) or training in broadband cable systems.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of electrical standards and regulations.
  • Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
  • Experience with cabling and electrical installations.
  • Strong technical troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Knowledge of safety procedures and protocols.
  • Ability to learn new technologies and systems quickly.
## Nice to Have - Experience with RF test equipment and signal level analysis.
