Job Description

About the Role

The OT Security Architect will play a crucial role in safeguarding First Quality's operational technology infrastructure. This position entails working closely with the OT engineering team, SOC team, and other stakeholders to ensure the security and integrity of the company's manufacturing processes. As a key member of the team, the OT Security Architect will be responsible for monitoring, managing, and responding to OT security events, as well as developing and implementing security controls for OT engineering projects.

The OT Security Architect will work remotely with periodic travel to manufacturing sites, allowing for a mix of autonomous work and collaboration with the team. What You Will Do

  • Monitor, manage, and respond to OT security events
  • Create an IS reference architecture for OT networks
  • Collaborate with the OT engineering team to define security controls for on-going projects
  • Provide technical guidance to the GRC team for assessing OT 3rd party vendor and supply chain risks
  • Integrate with OT engineering projects to ensure the implementation of required IS controls
  • Revise and develop processes to strengthen the current OT Security Operations Framework
  • Perform threat management, threat modeling, and identify threat vectors for OT security monitoring
  • Develop, configure, and maintain OT security automation and orchestration tools
  • Create reports, dashboards, and metrics for OT security operations and present to senior management
  • Develop required standards and procedures for OT security in coordination with stakeholders

What We Are Looking For

  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in OT security and operations
  • Knowledge of controls and automation equipment and principles (e.g., PLCs, SCADA, DCS, HMIs, VFDs)
  • Familiarity with security frameworks and standards such as NIST, ICS Mitre ATT&CK, and IEC 62443
  • Experience in defining and implementing security controls for OT engineering projects
  • Experience managing projects and prioritizing tasks effectively
  • Experience in developing, configuring, and maintaining OT security automation and orchestration tools
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field
  • Background in manufacturing controls is preferred
