Job Description

About the Role

As an outpatient mental health therapist at Mamaya Health, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality mental health therapy to clients in a remote setting. This role entails working with individuals, couples, and families to provide weekly, biweekly, or monthly therapy sessions. You will be part of a collaborative and mission-driven team that prioritizes providing life-giving mental healthcare.

The outpatient mental health therapist role is crucial in supporting Mamaya Health's mission to increase access to mental healthcare for women and those who love them. You will work closely with a team of administrative experts, including scheduling, billing, HR, and marketing professionals, to ensure seamless support for your clinical work.

What You Will Do

  • Provide individual, couples, and/or family outpatient therapy on a weekly, biweekly, or monthly basis
  • Manage and maintain an individual book of business, monitoring caseload health and proactively addressing issues
  • Utilize measurement-based care by incorporating assessments into every session and tracking mental health outcomes
  • Complete timely documentation within Mamaya Health's established timeframe
  • Collaborate with a small clinical group for support, community, accountability, and resources
  • Participate in free licensure supervision and continued education opportunities
  • Utilize automated systems, supportive tech, and AI notetaker to streamline clinical work
  • Maintain a minimum caseload of 12 completed client sessions per week
  • Monitor and address no-shows and late cancellations to ensure consistent pay

What We Are Looking For

  • Master's degree in a relevant field, such as psychology, social work, or counseling
  • Current licensure as a therapist in the United States
  • Experience working with women and those who love them, particularly in perinatal, women's health, or cancer support
  • Strong digital skills and ability to work remotely
