About the Role

The Outside Sales Consultant Account Executive position at Follett Software, LLC, is a unique opportunity for a sales professional to make a significant impact in the education technology sector. This role involves working closely with educators and administrators across North America, specifically in regions such as CT, DC, MA, MD, NC, and VA, to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions that enhance student success. As a key member of the sales team, the Outside Sales Consultant Account Executive will play a crucial role in driving the company's mission to empower educators with technology that simplifies challenges and offers a seamless experience. What You Will Do

  • Establish and maintain relationships with district/state Superintendents, Chief Technology Officers, Library Directors, Directors of Curriculum and Instruction, business officials, and other district administrators and staff.
  • Conduct face-to-face and virtual meetings to understand the needs of educators and present tailored solutions that meet those needs.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to expand Follett Software's market presence in North America.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including sales support and product development, to ensure alignment and maximize sales opportunities.
  • Provide feedback and insights to the product development team based on customer interactions and market trends.
  • Achieve or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Utilize digital skills to leverage sales tools, CRM software, and data analytics to optimize sales performance.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and emerging technologies in the education sector.
  • Engage in continuous professional development to enhance sales skills and knowledge of education technology.
