Job Description

About the Role

The P1 Analyst role at RTX is a remote position based in Puerto Rico, focusing on supplier quality and development. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for reviewing and monitoring compliance with supplier quality requirements, ensuring that all standards and specifications are met. This involves analyzing data, interpreting technical drawings, and identifying areas for improvement.

The P1 Analyst will work closely with various stakeholders, including suppliers, internal teams, and customers, to ensure seamless communication and effective issue resolution. With a strong emphasis on quality management, this role requires a high level of attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.

What You Will Do

  • Review and monitor supplier quality documentation and manufacturing process data to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications
  • Analyze and interpret technical drawings, including GD&T, to identify potential issues and areas for improvement
  • Review and approve FAIR packages, Gage Suitability packages, and Process Control (PPAP) packages
  • Perform basic statistical analysis using Minitab to evaluate and validate Process Control data of Key Characteristics (KCs)
  • Review Process Control Plans, Measurement System Analysis, and PFMEAs, and Process flow maps
  • Perform QMS audits to ensure compliance with quality management systems
  • Attend and participate in group meetings, teleconferences, and training sessions
  • Communicate with parties within and outside of own team to ensure effective issue resolution and seamless communication
  • Actively participate in initiatives for continuous improvement using CORE tools and support AS9100 efforts
  • Obtain CORE certifications to enhance skills and knowledge

What We Are Looking For

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics)
  • Experience in MS Office suite, particularly in data analysis and interpretation
  • Strong understanding of quality management systems, including AS9100 and AS13100
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, including GD&T
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment and prioritize tasks efficiently
  • Detail-oriented and process-driven, with a focus on quality and compliance
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and adhere to specific timetables
  • Administrative skills, including data management and record-keeping

Nice to Have

  • Bachelor's Degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics)
  • Experience in the aerospace industry or a related field
  • Knowledge of Minitab or other statistical analysis software
  • Certification in quality management or a related field
  • Experience with CORE tools and AS9100 efforts
