About the Role

The Paid Media Manager role is a critical part of Directive's Paid Media team, working directly with enterprise clients to develop and execute comprehensive digital marketing strategies. As a Paid Media Manager, you will oversee a collection of Paid Media accounts, serving as the primary point of contact for client communications and results. You will work closely with the Associate Director to ensure internal and client goals are achieved, driving referrals and building strong relationships with clients.

The role requires a deep understanding of client positioning and unique value propositions, as well as the ability to create, maintain, and optimize budgets for paid media campaigns across multiple channels. You will work with a range of tools, including Google Ads, Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and Google Analytics, to analyze campaign performance data and make data-driven decisions.

Directive's approach to Customer Generation focuses on delivering high-quality leads and customers, rather than just generating traffic or clicks. As a Paid Media Manager, you will be responsible for developing strategies that drive real results for clients, using a combination of paid search, paid social, and programmatic advertising.

What You Will Do

  • Oversee and lead a collection of Paid Media accounts, serving as the primary point of contact for client communications and results
  • Develop and execute comprehensive digital marketing strategies for enterprise clients, focusing on SQLs and customers
  • Create, maintain, and optimize budgets for paid media campaigns across multiple channels, including Google Ads, Meta Ads, and LinkedIn Ads
  • Analyze campaign performance data using tools like Google Analytics, GA4, and Excel to make data-driven decisions and optimize campaign performance
  • Work closely with the Associate Director to ensure internal and client goals are achieved, driving referrals and building strong relationships with clients
  • Develop and implement programmatic campaigns, understanding the value and benefits of this approach
  • Confirm lead routing is accurate within a CRM, ensuring seamless communication between teams
  • Drive personal productivity and utilization, managing multiple projects and prioritizing tasks effectively
  • Communicate results and strategies to clients, using data to tell stories and drive decision-making
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, including the latest tools and technologies in paid media

What We Are Looking For

  • 3+ years of experience working at a performance or digital marketing agency, with a focus on paid media and SaaS or tech clients
  • Deep expertise across paid search and paid social advertising campaigns, including Google Ads, Meta Ads, and LinkedIn Ads
  • Proficiency in using advertising platforms and tools, such as Google Ads, Facebook Business Manager, and LinkedIn Campaign Manager
  • Strong understanding of PPC principles, including keyword research, ad copywriting, bid management, and campaign optimization
  • Ability to analyze campaign performance data using tools like Google Analytics, GA4, and Excel, making data-driven decisions to optimize campaign performance
  • Experience working with enterprise clients, developing and executing comprehensive digital marketing strategies
  • Strong communication and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proven ability to drive results and measure success via OCT, with a focus on delivering high-quality leads and customers
