About the Role

The Paid Media Strategist role at Directive is a critical component of the company's performance marketing efforts. As a Paid Media Strategist, you will be responsible for overseeing and leading a collection of Paid Media accounts, serving as direct support to client contacts, and driving referrals via client relationships and professional networks. You will be working closely with the Associate Director to ensure internal and client goals are being achieved.

The role entails developing and executing paid media campaigns across multiple channels, including Google Ads, Facebook Ads, and LinkedIn Ads. You will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and optimizing budgets for paid media campaigns, as well as deeply understanding client positioning and unique value propositions.

Directive is a fast-paced and dynamic environment, and the successful candidate will be able to thrive in this setting, with a strong ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

What You Will Do

  • Oversee and lead a collection of Paid Media accounts
  • Serve as direct support to client contacts
  • Drive referrals via client relationships and professional networks
  • Build strategies for clients each quarter
  • Create, maintain, and optimize budgets for paid media campaigns across multiple channels
  • Deeply understand client positioning and unique value propositions
  • Confirm lead routing is accurate within a CRM
  • Understand the value of Programmatic campaigns
  • Execute and optimize PPC advertising campaigns across multiple platforms
  • Analyze campaign performance data using tools like Google Analytics, GA4, Excel, or other analytics platforms

What We Are Looking For

  • 3+ years of experience working at a performance/digital marketing agency
  • Experience working specifically with B2B SaaS/tech clients in an agency setting
  • Deep expertise across paid search and paid social advertising campaigns
  • Proficiency in using advertising platforms and tools such as Google Ads, Facebook Business Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager
  • Strong understanding of PPC principles, including keyword research, ad copywriting, bid management, and campaign optimization
  • Ability to analyze campaign performance data using tools like Google Analytics, GA4, Excel, or other analytics platforms

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Programmatic campaigns
  • Knowledge of AI and automation in marketing and operations
  • Certification in Google Ads or other relevant platforms
