Job Description

About the Role

The Paid Search Sr. Strategist is a critical component of Power Digital Marketing's growth strategy, responsible for owning the execution, performance, and growth of their marketing service within their book of business. This involves servicing complex, enterprise-level accounts and providing exceptional client service. The role demands a deep understanding of Paid Media advertising, as well as the ability to navigate cross-channel strategy and its impact on the broader media mix.

Day-to-day, the Sr. Strategist will work closely with clients to understand their business goals and develop tailored strategies to achieve them. This requires a unique blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and interpersonal skills. The Sr. Strategist will also collaborate with internal teams, including Specialists and other Sr. Strategists, to drive campaign performance and growth.

What You Will Do

  • Own the execution, performance, and growth of marketing services within your book of business
  • Service complex, enterprise-level accounts and provide exceptional client service
  • Develop and execute Paid Media campaigns across Google Ads and Microsoft Ads
  • Provide intelligent analysis, interpretation, and action plans based on campaign performance data
  • Participate in weekly department scrums and training sessions to further channel knowledge
  • Continuously seek to improve campaign performance against client goals
  • Maintain frequent and excellent communication with internal agency teams and external clients
  • Collaborate with Specialists and other Sr. Strategists to drive campaign performance and growth
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in Paid Media

What We Are Looking For

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Ads and Google Analytics
  • Experience with Performance Max and Programmatic
  • Strong understanding of cross-channel strategy and its impact on the broader media mix
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and navigate difficult conversations
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with Excel and data analysis
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English at an advanced level

Nice to Have

  • Experience with CTV and influencer marketing
  • Knowledge of Shopify and other e-commerce platforms
  • Certification in Google Ads or Microsoft Ads
