About the Role

The Paid Social Manager position at Directive is a critical component of the company's social media team, responsible for overseeing and leading a collection of social media accounts for mid-market and enterprise clients. This role requires a deep understanding of paid social advertising principles, including keyword research, ad copywriting, bid management, and campaign optimization. As a Paid Social Manager, you will work closely with clients to develop and execute custom strategies, communicate results, and drive cross-sells, upsells, and referrals.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in paid social advertising, with hands-on experience supporting B2B clients and a proven track record of success in managing and optimizing campaigns. You will be responsible for building strategies for clients each quarter, creating and maintaining budgets for paid media campaigns, and analyzing campaign performance data using tools like Google Analytics and Excel.

What You Will Do

  • Oversee and lead a collection of social media accounts for mid-market and enterprise clients
  • Serve as direct support to client contacts, providing regular communication and updates on campaign performance
  • Develop and execute custom strategies for clients, including keyword research, ad copywriting, and bid management
  • Create and maintain budgets for paid media campaigns, ensuring alignment with client goals and objectives
  • Analyze campaign performance data using tools like Google Analytics and Excel, making data-driven decisions to optimize campaigns
  • Communicate results to clients, providing regular updates and insights on campaign performance
  • Drive cross-sells, upsells, and referrals via client relationships and professional network
  • Collaborate with the Associate Director to ensure internal and client goals are being achieved
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and developments in paid social advertising, applying this knowledge to continuously improve campaign performance

What We Are Looking For

  • 2+ years of experience working in a performance or digital marketing agency, with hands-on experience supporting B2B clients
  • Deep expertise in paid social advertising campaigns, specifically LinkedIn Ads
  • Proficiency in using advertising platforms and tools, such as LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Zoominfo, and 6Sense
  • Strong understanding of paid principles, including keyword research, ad copywriting, bid management, and campaign optimization
  • Ability to analyze campaign performance data using tools like Google Analytics and Excel
  • Experience with audience segmentation by tier, job title, and other relevant factors
  • Proven and measurable success with mid-market or enterprise accounts
  • Ability to translate and articulate strategy and tell stories with data

  • Experience with Programmatic campaigns and the ability to drive results via data-driven decisions
