About the Role
The Part-Time Account Strategist role at Highway One Marketing is a unique opportunity for a digital marketing professional to join a team of like-minded individuals who prioritize thoughtful, data-backed strategies. As a key member of the paid media team, you will be responsible for the execution and optimization of campaigns across multiple platforms, including Google Ads, Meta Ads, and LinkedIn Ads. Your expertise in campaign structure, bidding strategies, and optimization techniques will be crucial in driving campaign success.The role is ideal for someone who is both hands-on in ad platforms and capable of contributing to campaign strategy and performance insights. You'll work closely with team members and partners, participating in client-facing conversations and presenting findings, recommendations, and performance updates. With a focus on clarity, actionable insights, and measurable impact, you'll play a critical role in delivering results-driven campaigns that meet client goals.
What You Will Do
- Build, manage, and optimize campaigns across Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Meta Ads, and occasionally other platforms
- Conduct keyword research, audience targeting, and campaign setup
- Write and test ad copy and creative variations
- Monitor performance and implement ongoing optimizations
- Contribute to overall account strategy and campaign planning
- Identify opportunities for growth, efficiency, and testing
- Align campaign structure with client goals and KPIs
- Analyze performance data and translate into clear recommendations
- Prepare reports and client-ready insights
- Participate in 2-3 weekly meetings (internal + client calls)
- Collaborate with team members across paid media and SEO
What We Are Looking For
- 2-5+ years of hands-on paid media experience
- Proven experience managing campaigns in Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and Meta Ads
- Strong understanding of campaign structure, bidding strategies, and optimization techniques
- Experience with Google Analytics (GA4)
- Ability to interpret data and make actionable recommendations
- Comfortable in a client-facing role
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Experience with Google Tag Manager (GTM) and Looker Studio (formerly Data Studio)
- Familiarity with additional platforms (Reddit, TikTok, etc.)
- Exposure to SEO principles and collaboration with SEO teams
- Experience in one or more of the following industries: B2B SaaS, Ecommerce, Higher Ed/EdTech, Local service businesses, restaurants, or franchises, Travel/Hospitality
