About the Role
The Partner Account Manager position at Equinix is a pivotal role in the DACH Ecosystem Team, focusing on managing and nurturing relationships with key partners in the region. This involves developing and implementing market access strategies, identifying and recruiting strategic resellers, and collaborating with the EMEA and global Platform Partner teams to enhance joint value propositions. What You Will Do
- Develop and implement tailored market access strategies for the DACH market, focusing on partner relationship management and sales growth.
- Identify, recruit, and enable strategic resellers (MSP/SI) aligned with Alliance Partners, ensuring close collaboration with channel sales colleagues to maximize impact.
- Work alongside EMEA and global Platform Partner team members to enhance joint value propositions and achieve partner objectives specific to the DACH market.
- Oversee the targeting, growth, and closing of joint pipelines and deals, ensuring alignment with Equinix's strategic goals in the region.
- Measure and report on the success of assigned partners, providing actionable insights to drive performance and growth.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of partner-related initiatives and sales strategies.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the DACH market, including trends, competitors, and customer needs.
- Design and implement partner engagement plans to ensure high levels of satisfaction and retention among partners.
- Conduct regular business reviews with partners to discuss performance, goals, and areas for improvement.
What We Are Looking For
- Proven success in channel sales for an internet, network, data center, hyperscaler, or cloud-based products or services provider, with a focus on the DACH market.
- A solid understanding of cloud service provider business models, managed hybrid IT services, and shifting cloud consumption models relevant to the DACH market.
- Excellent partner relationship management, program execution, cross-functional coordination, project management, and results measurement skills.
- Ability to design and present business plans, track program progress, and document guidelines for both internal and external use.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both German and English.
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment with a high level of adaptability.
