About the Role

The Partner Account Manager position is pivotal in Equinix's strategy to enhance its presence in the DACH market. This role involves developing and implementing market access strategies, maintaining and strengthening business relationships with assigned partners, and driving the adoption of integrated Equinix and partner solutions. The successful candidate will be part of the DACH Ecosystem Team within the EMEA Channel Sales Department, working closely with various teams to maximize impact.

Day-to-day, the role entails strategic planning, partnership management, and collaboration with internal stakeholders to achieve shared objectives. The Partner Account Manager will be responsible for identifying, recruiting, and enabling strategic resellers, thereby contributing to the company's channel and overall growth objectives.

What You Will Do

  • Develop and implement tailored market access strategies for the DACH market.
  • Manage and nurture relationships with assigned partners to drive business growth.
  • Identify, recruit, and enable strategic resellers aligned with Alliance Partners.
  • Collaborate with the EMEA and global Platform Partner teams to enhance joint value propositions.
  • Oversee the targeting, growth, and closing of joint pipelines and deals in the DACH market.
  • Measure and report the success of assigned partners, providing actionable insights to drive performance.
  • Work closely with channel sales colleagues to maximize the impact of partnerships.
  • Enhance business plans, track program progress, and document guidelines for internal and external use.
  • Ensure alignment of all partnership activities with Equinix's strategic goals in the DACH region.
  • Participate in cross-functional coordination to achieve business objectives.

What We Are Looking For

  • Proven years of success in channel sales, preferably in the internet, network, data center, hyperscaler, or cloud-based products or services provider.
  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Solid understanding of Cloud Service provider business models, managed Hybrid IT services, and shifting cloud consumption models relevant to the DACH market.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both German and English.
  • Skills in partner relationship management, program execution, cross-functional coordination, project management, and results measurement.
  • Ability to design and present business plans, track program progress, and document guidelines for both internal and external use.
  • Experience working in a dynamic environment with a proven ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Excel for data analysis and presentation.
  • Knowledge of the DACH market's specific needs and challenges in digital infrastructure.
  • Previous experience working with or for a hyperscaler or cloud service provider.
  • Familiarity with sales and partnership management software.
