About the Role

The Partner Business Development Representative role at Velixo is a unique opportunity to join a leading provider of Excel-based reporting, planning, and automation solutions. As a key member of the partnerships team, you will be responsible for identifying and developing new channel partners across the Acumatica, Sage, and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central ecosystems. Your primary focus will be on hunting and pipeline generation, utilizing your expertise in HubSpot, Salesforce, and Excel to drive growth and expansion.

In this role, you will work closely with the VP of Partnerships to develop and execute a strategic plan for partner acquisition and development. You will be responsible for building target partner lists, running high-volume outbound campaigns, and qualifying partner fit through structured discovery. Your ability to understand the technical alignment, customer base, go-to-market readiness, and revenue potential of potential partners will be crucial in identifying the best opportunities for Velixo.

What You Will Do

  • Build target partner lists from scratch across the Acumatica, Sage, and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central ecosystems
  • Run high-volume, multi-channel outbound campaigns, including cold email, cold calls, LinkedIn, event-based outreach, and referral mining
  • Open conversations with partner principals and practice leaders who are not yet aware of Velixo
  • Qualify partner fit through structured discovery, including technical alignment, customer base, go-to-market readiness, and revenue potential
  • Hand off qualified partner opportunities to the VP of Partnerships with a complete briefing
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop outbound assets and campaign material tailored to each partner segment and ERP ecosystem
  • Represent Velixo at key ERP community events, partner summits, and user conferences
  • Maintain accurate pipeline data, activity logs, and forecasting in the CRM
  • Develop and execute a strategic plan for partner acquisition and development
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking and research

What We Are Looking For

  • 2+ years of experience in a partner business development, channel development, or partner recruitment role within the ERP space
  • Direct working experience in at least one of the Acumatica, Sage, or Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central ecosystems
  • Demonstrated track record of sourcing net-new partners against an outbound quota
  • Strong understanding of the ERP channel, including the players, conferences, and language partners speak
  • Proficiency in HubSpot, Salesforce, and Excel
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Strong organizational and time management skills

Nice to Have

  • Experience with marketing automation platforms and CRM systems
  • Familiarity with the Acumatica, Sage, and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central ecosystems
  • Knowledge of ERP solutions and their applications
