About the Role

The Partner Development Director at Clozd plays a pivotal role in building and scaling a strategic partnerships function, positioning the company as an embedded infrastructure layer across the go-to-market ecosystem. This role goes beyond traditional channel management, focusing on creating a partner-led growth engine that drives significant revenue expansion. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of GTM, RevOps, and the ability to engage with C-level executives, operating partners, and founders.

As a key member of the Clozd team, the Partner Development Director will work closely with senior leadership to define and execute the company's partnership strategy. This involves identifying and prioritizing key partner ecosystems, developing compelling value propositions, and establishing co-sell motions that drive business outcomes. The role requires a strong systems thinker, capable of understanding how products become embedded into workflows, and a commercially driven mindset, with a focus on owning pipeline and revenue outcomes.

What You Will Do

  • Build and execute the partner strategy, defining key partner ecosystems and developing value propositions aligned to their business models.
  • Source, recruit, and onboard high-value partners, establishing co-sell motions tied to business outcomes like win rate, retention, and expansion.
  • Enable partners with messaging, positioning, certification, training, and joint go-to-market plans.
  • Generate and close partner-sourced opportunities, building joint account plans with strategic partners.
  • Establish a repeatable motion that drives 20-30% of new pipeline.
  • Integrate Clozd into partner-led offerings and workflows, positioning the company as a standard part of modern revenue organizations.
  • Work closely with the sales team to drive pipeline and revenue growth through partner channels.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key partners, ensuring high satisfaction and retention rates.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activity, identifying opportunities for Clozd to innovate and lead.

What We Are Looking For

  • 7-12+ years of experience in partnerships, strategic sales, or consulting, with a proven track record of building partner ecosystems and driving revenue through co-sell motions.
  • Strong executive presence, with the ability to engage CROs, CMOs, operating partners, and founders.
  • Experience working with consulting firms, private equity, or GTM technology ecosystems.
  • A builder mindset, comfortable operating in ambiguity and creating structure from scratch.
  • Commercially driven, with a focus on owning pipeline and revenue outcomes.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts and negotiate agreements.
  • Experience with CRM, CI, CS, and enablement platforms.
  • Understanding of decision intelligence and its applications in revenue organizations.
