As part of the Partnerships/GTM team, this leader will work closely with internal stakeholders, including Product, Engineering, Security, and Legal teams, to deliver strong partner outcomes through disciplined strategy and execution. The goal is to accelerate customer success, enable enterprise AI adoption, and drive durable growth in support of Openai's mission toward AGI.

What You Will Do

  • Own and grow a portfolio of strategic ISV and technology partnerships, with accountability for partnership health, adoption, and business impact.
  • Define partnership strategy and priorities, including joint plans, goals, and an execution roadmap across key partner segments.
  • Establish and run a durable operating model, including governance, stakeholder alignment, escalation paths, and execution cadence.
  • Partner with Product and Engineering to shape and deliver integrations that meet enterprise requirements for reliability, security, and scalability.
  • Collaborate with Security, Legal, and Privacy teams to ensure appropriate trust, compliance, and commercial frameworks for joint work.
  • Build and drive joint GTM plans with Field and Marketing teams, including enablement, solution positioning, and coordinated execution.
  • Track performance against clear metrics, identify bottlenecks, and drive continuous improvement across partnerships and programs.
  • Represent Openai with senior partner executives, driving alignment, resolving issues, and expanding partnership scope over time.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Openai's products and services, as well as the competitive landscape and market trends.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, experimentation, and continuous learning within the partnerships team.

What We Are Looking For

  • Significant experience leading strategic technology partnerships, alliances, or platform ecosystem programs in enterprise software or cloud.
  • A track record building and scaling partnerships from early-stage strategy through execution, integrations, and GTM.
  • Strong technical and product fluency, with the ability to partner effectively with solutions engineering and security teams.
  • Experience navigating enterprise requirements related to security, privacy, governance, and compliance in partner-led initiatives.
  • Exceptional cross-functional leadership and the ability to drive alignment across Product, Engineering, Sales/GTM, Legal, and partner organizations.
  • Strong executive presence, negotiation capability, and comfort operating in fast-moving, ambiguous environments.
  • Clear, concise communication skills with experience producing decision-ready memos, plans, and executive updates.
  • Ability to work in a remote environment, with strong self-motivation and discipline.

  • Equity in a leading AI research and deployment company.
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance.
  • Flexible PTO policy and remote work stipend.
  • Access to the latest tools and technologies in AI and machine learning.
  • Opportunities for professional growth and development in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

How to Stand Out

  • Develop a strong understanding of Openai's products and services, as well as the competitive landscape and market trends, to stand out in the application process.
  • Showcase experience in building and scaling strategic partnerships, with a focus on driving business impact and customer adoption.
