About the Role
The Partner Marketing Lead, APAC, plays a pivotal role in shaping Openai's regional marketing strategy, focusing on priority strategic and ecosystem partners across Asia-Pacific. This senior marketing role is centered on developing joint narratives, co-marketing programs, partner-led education, and integrated activations with key technology partners. Success in this position requires strong marketing acumen, the ability to navigate complex stakeholder relationships, and a deep understanding of the APAC market landscape.Day-to-day, the Partner Marketing Lead will work closely with the Partnerships team, partner-side marketing teams, and various global and regional marketing stakeholders to convert strategic relationships into high-impact programs tailored for enterprise, developer, and startup audiences. This is a unique opportunity for a marketing professional to make a significant impact on Openai's presence in the APAC region, driving growth and establishing the company as a leader in AI technology.

What You Will Do
- Lead the development and execution of APAC partner marketing strategies, prioritizing strategic and ecosystem partners.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key partners, ensuring alignment with Openai's marketing objectives.
- Design and implement joint marketing plans, including narratives, campaigns, events, education, and regional activations.
- Collaborate with the Partnerships team to prioritize marketing initiatives and ensure program execution quality.
- Coordinate with various marketing teams (B2B, Developer, Startup, Content, Events, Product Marketing, Comms, and Country Marketing) to activate the right audiences and channels.
- Develop scalable partner marketing playbooks, planning rhythms, briefs, review processes, and measurement frameworks.
- Represent APAC market needs and partner opportunities in global partner marketing planning.
- Manage internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clarity around roles, decisions, timelines, and outcomes.
- Analyze program performance and partner feedback to refine the partner marketing roadmap.
What We Are Looking For
- 10+ years of experience in partner marketing, alliance marketing, ecosystem marketing, or integrated B2B marketing within the technology sector.
- Proven track record of building successful co-marketing programs with major technology, cloud, platform, or ecosystem partners.
- Strong understanding of how strategic partnerships drive audience narratives, programs, channels, and measurable marketing outcomes.
- Experience influencing across companies, functions, cultures, and senior stakeholder groups.
- Demonstrated ability to operate strategically and execute pragmatically in fast-moving, ambiguous environments.
- Strong cross-functional experience with Partnerships, Product Marketing, Sales or GTM, Content, Events, Comms, and regional marketing teams.
- Excellent communication, prioritization, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in GTM and Excel, with the ability to analyze data and inform marketing decisions.
Nice to Have
- Experience with AI, cloud platforms, developer ecosystems, startup ecosystems, or enterprise technology.
- Familiarity with APAC markets and partner ecosystems.
- Experience working with AWS or similarly scaled strategic partners.
