About the Role
Canonical, a leading provider of open source software, is seeking a Partner Sales Director to work closely with Global System Integrators (GSI) partners. The company's platform, Ubuntu, is widely used in enterprise initiatives such as public cloud, data science, and IoT.Responsibilities
- Build strategic relationships with GSI partners at all levels
- Negotiate contracts and commercial business terms
- Work closely with marketing, sales engineering, and product management to deliver targets
- Lead executive interlocks between partners and Canonical leadership team
Requirements
- Extensive experience in alliances and partnerships, particularly with GSI
- Deep understanding of Linux and cloud software ecosystem, and open source selling models
