About the Role
The Partner Solutions Engineer position at BeyondTrust is a critical role in scaling the company's technical capabilities within its partner ecosystem. This involves enabling partners to independently drive technical pre-sales activities, including discovery calls, product demonstrations, and proof-of-concept engagements. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with partners to enhance their technical knowledge, align with Go-To-Market strategies, and support sales opportunities that drive pipeline and revenue growth.Day-to-day, the Partner Solutions Engineer will act as a trusted advisor and technical coach, developing and delivering enablement programs, assisting in deal registration opportunities, and providing consultative support. This role requires strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to fostering successful partnerships.

What You Will Do
- Coach partners on delivering the BeyondTrust technical value proposition effectively
- Enable partners to independently conduct discovery calls, product demonstrations, and proof-of-concept engagements
- Provide onsite or virtual foundational technical training tailored to partner needs
- Oversee and maintain partner lab environments, ensuring they reflect the latest product versions and use cases
- Support partners in customer-facing activities for deal registration opportunities, including discovery, demo, and POC stages
- Conduct technical assessments to ensure partner readiness
- Align with in-region focus partners and VADs to support their growth and scalability with BeyondTrust products
- Develop new technical relationships within the partner network to drive pipeline and revenue growth
- Support NFR (Not for Resale) requests and ensure partner readiness for BeyondTrust solutions
- Represent BeyondTrust at partner events, trade shows, and seminars to showcase technical capabilities
What We Are Looking For
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience as a pre-sales engineer or support engineer
- 5+ years of experience working with a global software vendor
- Proven ability to differentiate BeyondTrust solutions within the Privileged Access Management (PAM) space
- Expertise in conducting proof-of-concepts across Windows and Unix environments
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft technologies, including Active Directory, DNS, and enterprise systems
- Strong working knowledge of Unix/Linux operating systems, including installation, troubleshooting, and privilege management
- Familiarity with virtualization platforms such as VMware and Hyper-V
- Exceptional presentation, communication, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 50%
Nice to Have
- Experience with BeyondTrust products (e.g., Privilege Management for Desktops, Password Safe, Remote Support, Privileged Remote Access)
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, MCSE, GWAPT, CCFE, CPT, CEH, or ITIL
- Experience in building, supporting, and selling security solutions
