Job Description

About the Role

The Partner Solutions Engineer role at Hightouch is a pivotal position that serves as the technical counterpart to the partner sales team. This role is about building and maintaining strong, technical relationships with key partners, including Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, and The Trade Desk, to position Hightouch as their preferred CDP and Agentic Marketing partner. The successful candidate will spend a significant amount of time understanding the technical needs of these partners and ensuring that Hightouch's product aligns with their requirements, thereby driving co-sell opportunities.

As part of the Hightouch team, the Partner Solutions Engineer will be expected to influence partner technical organizations, gathering feedback, and project-managing product changes end-to-end. This role requires not only technical acumen but also the ability to communicate complex ideas simply, both to partners and within the Hightouch organization. The role's success is measured by its impact on partner-sourced and partner-influenced Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR), making it a critical position for the company's growth strategy.

What You Will Do

  • Own the technical relationship with Partner SEs, Partner PMs, Partner alliance leadership, and Partner Sales at key partners.
  • Build and deliver custom demos, hands-on labs, reference architectures, and joint solution content for partner field teams.
  • Run enablement and certification sessions for partner SEs and AEs to enhance their ability to co-sell Hightouch solutions.
  • Provide deal-level technical support, including discovery, architecture reviews, technical wins, and demo environments.
  • Package industry-specific joint solutions with partner industry principals and field CTOs.
  • Maintain current certifications on Snowflake, Databricks, and BigQuery, staying up-to-date on the modern data stack.
  • Translate partner technical feedback into well-scoped input for Hightouch Product and Engineering.
  • Project-manage partner-driven roadmap items from problem statement to launch.
  • Identify integration gaps and joint-solution opportunities with each top ISV, driving them to shipped outcomes.
  • Partner with Partner Marketing on launch motions, including solution briefs, demo vignettes, joint blogs, and field enablement assets.

What We Are Looking For

  • 5+ years in Solutions Engineering, Partner SE, or Solutions Architecture, with experience operating at or above the level of an Enterprise SE.
  • Hands-on fluency with SQL and at least one of Snowflake, Databricks, or BigQuery.
  • End-to-end understanding of one of these platforms, including implementation, administration, integration, and user experience.
  • Experience with DV360 and The Trade Desk, or similar advertising and media platforms.
  • Strong technical presentation and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts simply.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adapting quickly to changing priorities and technologies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex problems and develop creative solutions.
  • Ability to travel for industry events, partner meetings, and internal workshops.

Nice to Have

  • Experience working with Agentic Marketing Platforms or similar customer data platforms.
  • Familiarity with modern data stacks and cloud-based data management solutions.
  • Experience in the digital marketing or AdTech industry, with an understanding of its technical challenges.
  • Certification in any of the mentioned tools or technologies beyond the required level.
