About the Role

As a Partner Specialist SE focused on Public Sector Partners at Samsara, you will be at the forefront of driving growth through strategic partnerships. This role is pivotal in Samsara's mission to digitally transform physical operations across various industries, including agriculture, construction, field services, transportation, and manufacturing. You will work closely with Partner Account Managers to lead technical and solution-oriented conversations with existing and prospective public sector partners and their customers.

The role involves a deep understanding of Samsara's products, features, and APIs, as well as the ability to navigate the nuances of government procurement processes, contract vehicles, and compliance requirements. Your expertise will help public sector partners and joint customers realize value through integrated solutions, including providing integration support, architectural guidance, and strategic recommendations.

What You Will Do

Lead technical and solution-oriented conversations with public sector partners and their customers to drive business growth.
Perform deep discovery into partner environments to find solution fits, determine integration scope, and identify additional technology-driven revenue opportunities.
Develop and maintain expertise in Samsara products, features, and APIs to provide authoritative guidance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build partner engagements from the ground up.
Learn public sector partners' platforms, data models, workflows, and go-to-market motions to translate that understanding into meaningful joint solutions with Samsara.
Provide integration support, architectural guidance, and strategic recommendations on how Samsara and a partner's platform should coexist and complement each other.
Understand and navigate the complexities of government procurement processes, contract vehicles, and compliance requirements.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities through existing and prospective partners.
Work closely with the sales team to articulate the value proposition of Samsara's solutions to partners and customers.

What We Are Looking For

Strong technical background with the ability to understand and communicate complex technical concepts.
Experience in a similar role, preferably with a focus on public sector partnerships.
Proficiency in Excel and other tools relevant to data analysis and business operations.
Understanding of government procurement processes, contract vehicles, and compliance requirements.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with partners and customers.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop creative solutions.
Experience working with IoT data, cloud-based solutions, or related technologies is a plus.
