Job Description

About the Role

The Partnerships Director plays a vital role in 829 Studios' sales team, focusing on developing and managing key partnerships that drive deal flow into the business. This involves coordinating with cross-functional organizations to maximize partner revenue generation. As a trusted member of the sales team, the Director of Partnerships will report to the Director of Sales and work closely with various teams to achieve business goals.

The partnerships director will be responsible for educating partners through ongoing training, facilitating skills transfer, driving demand generation, and supporting business development. This requires strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to build and maintain senior-level relationships with partner business leaders.

What You Will Do

  • Develop and execute partner strategies to drive revenue growth
  • Coordinate and deliver ongoing training to partners
  • Facilitate skills transfer and demand generation
  • Support business development and partner enablement
  • Manage senior-level relationships with partner business leaders
  • Monitor and provide insight into partners' business and technical service capabilities
  • Facilitate internal resources and investments needed to execute business plans
  • Develop cadences with all partners and conduct joint sales clinics
  • Provide reporting and take ownership of the relationship and joint success with partners
  • Coordinate sales demos and facilitate partner relationships

What We Are Looking For

  • 8+ years of experience in sales, partnerships, or business development
  • Strong understanding of the marketing industry
  • Stellar communication, negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Experience generating new pipeline independently through cold outbound outreach
  • Ability to work independently while remaining coachable and contributing to team success
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace, HubSpot Sales Hub, and ZoomInfo
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients
  • Strong understanding of partner recruitment, demand generation, and support

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Adjust and other marketing tools
  • Familiarity with the tech industry and its trends
  • Certification in sales, marketing, or a related field
  • Experience working in a remote environment
