About the Role
The Partnerships Manager role at FYST is a critical position that requires a unique blend of technical, business, and interpersonal skills. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for onboarding new partners, managing existing relationships, and ensuring the smooth operation of payment processing channels. Your day-to-day work will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, including business development, risk, and technical departments. The partnerships team at FYST is a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with a focus on driving growth and innovation in the fintech sector. As a Partnerships Manager, you will be expected to think strategically, act proactively, and communicate effectively with both internal stakeholders and external partners. The role reports to the Head of Partnerships and will work closely with other teams to achieve business objectives.What You Will Do
- Onboard new partners onto payment processing channels, ensuring a smooth technical and commercial setup
- Build and maintain integrations with new and existing partners, resolving any technical issues that may arise
- Manage a portfolio of merchant accounts across multiple partner channels, tracking performance, flagging risks, and leading resolution efforts
- Maintain and update a risk register for active partners, staying ahead of compliance, IPS, and acquirer requirements
- Run the merchant account dashboard, ensuring that all data is current and up-to-date
- Review and renegotiate financial conditions, including processing rates, settlements, rolling reserves, and deposits
- Handle incoming partner requests, triaging and resolving queries related to compliance, IPS, and acquirer requirements
- Resolve settlement delays and debt issues with partners directly, ensuring timely and efficient resolution
- Identify opportunities to scale capacity and increase efficiency within existing solutions, driving business growth and innovation
What We Are Looking For
- 2+ years of experience in account management, partner success, or onboarding at a payment service provider, acquirer, or payment infrastructure company
- Solid understanding of payment processing, including approval rates, acquiring, financial settlements, risk, and compliance frameworks
- Hands-on experience working with merchant accounts and PSP relationships, with a strong understanding of the ecosystem
- Intermediate-level proficiency in Excel, with experience working with dashboards and data
- Ownership mindset, with the ability to manage your own workload, spot problems before they escalate, and bring solutions
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work with international partners and internal stakeholders across functions
- Resilient in ambiguity, with the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment where processes evolve and priorities shift
- Fluent Russian and strong English language skills
Nice to Have
- Experience with payment orchestration, merchant onboarding, or PSP/acquirer integrations
- Familiarity with risk registers, compliance processes, or IPS frameworks
- Comfort with AI tools or automation for operational workflows
- Track record of managing multiple partner accounts simultaneously without dropping the ball
