About the Role

The Patient Access Manager NorBalt role at Sobi is a pivotal position that leads the development and execution of innovative patient access strategies for Sobi's portfolio across the Nordics. This role is critical in ensuring that life-saving treatments reach those who need them most. Day-to-day, the Patient Access Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand the needs of ultra-rare disease patients and develop strategies to improve their access to necessary treatments.

The Patient Access Manager will be responsible for traveling across the Nordics, engaging with healthcare stakeholders, and analyzing market trends to inform access strategies. This role requires a deep understanding of the healthcare landscape in Norway and the broader Nordic region, as well as the ability to communicate complex economic evaluations effectively.

What You Will Do

  • Develop and execute patient access strategies for Sobi's portfolio across the Nordics.
  • Conduct economic evaluations and develop evidence-based value communications to support access strategies.
  • Engage with healthcare stakeholders, including payers, healthcare professionals, and patient organizations.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activity to inform access strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and medical affairs.
  • Travel across the Nordics to meet with stakeholders and stay abreast of market developments.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including patient advocacy groups.
  • Stay updated on regulatory changes and healthcare policy developments that impact patient access.
  • Contribute to the development of Sobi's overall market access strategy.

What We Are Looking For

  • Master's degree in life sciences, healthcare, or health economics.
  • 5-10 years of experience in pricing, reimbursement, and patient access, ideally within pharmaceuticals or consultancy.
  • Strong expertise in economic evaluation and evidence-based value communication.
  • Proven experience in developing and executing strategic access plans.
  • Fluency in English and at least one Scandinavian language.
  • Ability to travel across the Nordics as required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
