## About the Role As a People Business Partner Lead at Clickhouse, you will play a pivotal role in driving the company's growth in the Asia-Pacific and Japan region. This position combines strategic people partnership, regional compliance ownership, and operational execution to ensure people practices scale effectively. You will work closely with regional leaders, Legal, and global People teams to bring the people strategy to life in APJ.
The APJ region is a vital part of Clickhouse's expansion, with diverse markets and regulatory requirements. This role requires someone who is comfortable operating as a utility player, equally strong in partnering with leaders on people strategy, navigating regional employment requirements, and owning key operational processes.
The ideal candidate will have experience in building and maintaining strong regional operational foundations, ensuring compliance while delivering a consistent employee experience aligned with global practices.
## What You Will Do - Partner closely with APJ leaders and managers to drive organizational effectiveness, team health, and strong performance.
- Bring a thoughtful people lens to leadership decisions, including team design, performance management, and talent development.
- Act as a trusted partner to leaders navigating complex employee situations and evolving organizational needs.
- Serve as the regional point of contact for employment practices and compliance across APJ.
- Partner with Legal and external advisors to ensure alignment with local employment laws and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure global people programs and policies are appropriately implemented and adapted to local requirements where needed.
- Monitor evolving regulatory requirements across APJ markets and proactively advise leadership on potential impacts.
- Own key People Operations processes across APJ, ensuring regional execution aligns with global standards while meeting local requirements.
- Lead the regional execution of core people programs, including performance cycles, compensation processes, and talent initiatives.
- Identify opportunities to improve the scalability and effectiveness of regional people processes.
- Support the operational needs of the region, including vendor coordination, documentation practices, and local employment process management where applicable.
- Strong understanding of regional employment laws and regulatory requirements.
- Experience in navigating complex employee situations and evolving organizational needs.
