About the Role
The People & Culture Manager at Partyhat is a critical position that requires a unique blend of strategic thinking, operational expertise, and emotional intelligence. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining a high-performance culture that spans the globe. Your day-to-day work will involve managing the entire employee lifecycle, from onboarding new hires to ensuring that the company remains compliant with relevant laws and regulations.In this role, you will work closely with the leadership team to develop and implement HR strategies that drive growth, engagement, and performance. You will also serve as a primary point of contact for team members, providing support and guidance on a range of issues, from benefits and compensation to conflict resolution and career development.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing remote teams, navigating complex compliance issues, and driving cultural initiatives that promote excellence and collaboration.
What You Will Do
- Design and execute a seamless onboarding experience for new hires
- Develop and maintain a high-performance culture that aligns with the company's mission and values
- Manage global compliance issues, including labor laws, tax regulations, and data protection
- Coordinate payroll and benefits administration, including digital asset-based payments
- Implement lightweight but effective review systems to drive performance and growth
- Act as a primary point of contact for team members, providing support and guidance on a range of issues
- Develop and maintain relationships with external partners, including legal counsel, benefits providers, and recruitment agencies
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes that impact the company's operations
- Collaborate with the leadership team to develop and implement HR strategies that drive growth, engagement, and performance
What We Are Looking For
- 4+ years of experience in HR or people operations, preferably in a high-growth startup or Web3 environment
- Proven track record of managing remote teams and navigating complex compliance issues
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience with HR systems, tools, and technologies, including HRIS, payroll software, and performance management platforms
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a high degree of flexibility and adaptability
Nice to Have
- Experience with Web3 technologies, including blockchain, cryptocurrency, and digital asset-based payments
- Knowledge of labor laws, tax regulations, and data protection requirements in multiple jurisdictions
- Certification in HR, people operations, or a related field, such as SHRM or HRCI
- Experience with agile methodologies, including Scrum or Kanban
