## About the Role Twilio is seeking a People Generalist to support the R&D function, partnering closely with HRBPs and the People team to drive business outcomes. As a key member of the People Generalists team, you will report to the Global People Generalists Manager and play a critical role in delivering People priorities. The R&D function at Twilio is a highly senior organization, consisting of approximately 300 Product Management employees. As a People Generalist, you will be supporting this team, analyzing HR data and trends, and generating insights to inform decision-making. Your expertise will be crucial in driving business outcomes and ensuring the success of the R&D function.
## What You Will Do - Partner with the HRBP team to support program roll-outs and on-going process execution - Analyze HR data and trends to generate insights, trends, and prepare reports for HRBPs and senior leadership - Own and manage performance management cases end-to-end, partnering with managers to ensure fair, consistent, and timely outcomes - Coach and guide managers through the performance management process, providing advice, documentation support, and best practice - Support HR Leader on ad hoc projects - Help execute and lead business-led initiatives, such as re-orgs, job role, and level assessments - Partner cross-functionally with key stakeholders, including Talent Management, IT, ER, HR operations, Compliance, Recruiting, and Compensation - Program Management - maintaining the annual program calendar of events - Maintain confidentiality of core HR data and projects
## What We Are Looking For - 3+ years of experience in an HR Generalist role or similar - Demonstrated track record of providing advice and assistance with HR queries in various areas, including benefits, compensation, offboarding, global mobility, and employee relations - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze HR data and trends - Excellent communication and coaching skills, with the ability to guide managers through the performance management process - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously - Strong understanding of HR principles, practices, and laws - Experience working in a remote-first environment, with a strong ability to work independently and collaboratively - Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
## Nice to Have - Experience working in the tech industry, preferably in a similar role - Knowledge of HR systems, including Workday, BambooHR, or similar - Certification in HR, such as SHRM-CP, PHR, or similar - Experience with program management, including maintaining annual program calendars and leading business-led initiatives
