## About the Role The People Operations Specialist role at mercor is a part-time, fully remote position that requires a high level of expertise in HR, people operations, and total rewards. As a key member of the team, the successful candidate will be responsible for constructing scenarios across enterprise talent acquisition, total rewards, employee relations, and workforce planning. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about HR and has a strong understanding of the complexities of managing a global workforce. The day-to-day responsibilities of this role will include developing multi-country leave, benefits, and compliance scenarios, designing enterprise total rewards programs, and authoring tasks on Fortune 500 DEI programs. ## What You Will Do - Construct scenarios across enterprise talent acquisition, total rewards, employee relations, and workforce planning at a Fortune 500 scale - Build tasks involving enterprise HRIS at 5K+ to 50K+ employee scale, including Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, and Oracle HCM Cloud - Develop multi-country leave, benefits, and compliance scenarios, including FMLA, ADA, EU parental leave, and APAC statutory programs - Design enterprise total rewards programs, including equity, deferred comp, and executive compensation - Author tasks on Fortune 500 DEI programs, organizational design, and M&A people integration - Write rubrics that distinguish authentic enterprise HR judgment from generic guidance - Collaborate with the team to develop and implement HR strategies that support the growth and development of the company - Analyze data and metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement in HR processes - Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including employees, management, and external partners

## What We Are Looking For - 5+ years of experience in HR, people operations, total rewards, or talent at a Fortune 500 or large public company, or at a top-tier HR advisory or executive search firm serving Fortune 500 clients - Direct experience with enterprise HRIS at scale and with multi-country workforce programs - Familiarity with Fortune 500 compensation philosophy, equity programs, and regulatory environments - Strong understanding of HR principles, practices, and regulations - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

## Nice to Have - Prior experience with rubric, training-content, or HR enablement authorship - Knowledge of HR analytics and metrics - Experience with diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives - Certification in HR, such as SHRM-CP or PHR
