About the Role
As a People Operations Specialist at Twilio, you will play a vital role in the company's HR functions, responsible for managing day-to-day processes and implementing improvements to enhance the employee experience. You will work closely with various People functions to execute HR operational processes and services, ensuring seamless delivery and high-quality support to employees and internal stakeholders. The People Operations team is the backbone of Twilio's core HR functions, and as a specialist, you will be instrumental in driving the company's HR initiatives forward.The role entails a deep understanding of HR processes and systems, including HRIS, benefits, compensation, payroll, and relocation. You will provide administration, communication, and processing support for core HR processes, partnering closely with other People functions to ensure a world-class employee experience. Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining confidentiality, handling sensitive information, and providing mentorship to employees and managers on core HR policies and processes.

What You Will Do
- Leverage the HRIS system to perform transactions, support employees, and internal stakeholders
- Provide HR support directly to employees and internal partners related to benefits, compensation, HR policies, relocation, payroll, and HR systems
- Administer, communicate, and process core HR functions, including onboarding, benefits, and performance management
- Partner with other People functions to execute HR operational processes and services, focusing on employee experience and data integrity
- Mentor and assist employees and managers on core HR policies and processes
- Maintain confidentiality of core HR data and projects
- Participate in system testing and support for HR Operations related program rollouts, new systems, and processes
- Document, maintain, and communicate core HR processes to users and partners
- Provide excellent customer service to employees and internal stakeholders, ensuring prompt and efficient issue resolution
What We Are Looking For
- 3+ years of experience running HR processes in the Americas, involving coordination of operational and project tasks, and direct customer/employee queries
- Effective multitasking, interpersonal, collaboration, and communication skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple stakeholders, projects, and tasks
- Strong understanding of the HR ecosystem, including payroll, IT, compensation, benefits, and legal
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills in English, Spanish, and Portuguese
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
- Experience working with HR systems, including Workday HCM
- Prior experience running HR processes for Canada and the US is desirable
Nice to Have
- Experience building dashboards and reports in Tableau
- Prior experience working in a cloud-based communication company
- Knowledge of artificial intelligence and its applications in HR
- Certification in HR, such as SHRM or HRCI
