## About the Role As a Performance Marketing Engineer at Leaf, you will be at the forefront of driving growth and profitability for eCommerce brands through data-driven paid media strategies. Your role will involve collaborating closely with product and engineering teams to build scalable solutions and automate workflows, ensuring the most efficient use of significant budgets entrusted to the Performance Marketing team. This is a senior, hands-on position that requires a blend of technical expertise and deep understanding of paid media.
Your day-to-day activities will include planning and executing full-funnel campaigns across Google and Meta, managing multi-channel media plans, and optimizing campaigns to reduce CPA and scale revenue efficiently. Given the nature of this role, you will work across a portfolio of eCommerce brands, driving measurable growth and evolving Leaf's internal capabilities.

## What You Will Do - Plan and execute full-funnel paid media strategies across Google and Meta, focusing on prospecting, retargeting, and retention.
- Build and manage multi-channel media plans aligned with revenue and ROAS targets.
- Optimize campaigns to reduce CPA and scale revenue efficiently, ensuring the best possible return on investment.
- Own budget allocation across channels based on performance data, making data-driven decisions to maximize growth.
- Implement and maintain tracking infrastructure, including GTM, pixels, and conversion APIs.
- Work with product feeds, such as Google Merchant Center, Meta catalogs, and Shopify integrations.
- Identify and build automation opportunities to reduce manual work and increase efficiency.
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to turn workflows into scalable tools or features.
- Use data to drive decision-making across campaigns and channels, utilizing tools like Looker, GA, and platform dashboards.
- Conduct structured testing of creative, audiences, and landing pages to continually improve campaign performance.
- Translate insights into actionable growth strategies, ensuring that data analysis leads to tangible outcomes.

- Certification in Google Ads, Meta Ads, or Google Analytics, demonstrating specialized knowledge in these areas.
