About the Role
The Performance Marketing Lead position at Universe Group is a pivotal role that involves developing, executing, and optimizing paid media strategies across various channels. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic team and will report to the Head of Marketing.Day-to-day, the Performance Marketing Lead will be responsible for managing and optimizing campaigns across social media platforms, search engines, and other digital channels. This involves constant monitoring of campaign performance, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing changes to achieve better ROI. The role also entails collaboration with the creative team to develop compelling ad content and with the data analytics team to ensure campaign metrics are accurately tracked and analyzed.
Given the remote nature of this role, the ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and communicate clearly with team members across different time zones is essential. What You Will Do
- Develop and execute comprehensive paid media strategies that align with business objectives.
- Manage and optimize campaigns across multiple digital channels, including social media, search engines, and display advertising.

- Collaborate with the creative team to design and develop effective ad content.
- Work closely with the data analytics team to ensure accurate campaign measurement and analysis.
- Continuously monitor campaign performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing optimizations.
- Stay updated on the latest digital marketing trends, technologies, and best practices.
- Manage budget allocations across different channels to maximize ROI.
- Foster relationships with key stakeholders, including internal teams and external partners.
- Lead A/B testing and experimentation to refine marketing strategies.
- Present campaign results and insights to senior leadership and other stakeholders.
What We Are Looking For
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in performance marketing, with a focus on paid media.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful paid media campaigns that drive business results.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing channels, including social media, search, and display.
- Experience with campaign management tools such as Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, and other relevant platforms.
- Excellent data analysis skills, with the ability to interpret campaign metrics and make data-driven decisions.
- Strong communication and project management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.
- Experience with team leadership or mentoring junior team members.
- Certification in Google Ads or other relevant digital marketing certifications is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
