About the Role
The Performance Marketing Manager role at TheFamilyGroup is a key position that involves managing and optimizing the company's in-house performance marketing efforts across a brand portfolio. This is a unique opportunity to work directly with the founders and own the strategy and execution of performance marketing campaigns. The role is based in Cologne and will require hands-on experience with Google Ads and Meta Ads, as well as the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.The ideal candidate will have a strong background in D2C or e-commerce marketing and be able to execute campaigns with minimal supervision. The Family Group is a dynamic and fast-paced environment, and the successful candidate will need to be able to keep up with the pace and adapt to changing priorities.

What You Will Do
- Own and operate Meta and Google Ads across the brand portfolio on a day-to-day basis
- Run structured creative and audience tests to optimize campaign performance
- Translate CMO strategy into campaign execution and ensure alignment with business goals
- Set up and maintain clean tracking and attribution systems, including Shopify and GA4
- Analyze performance data and turn insights into actionable decisions to drive campaign optimization
- Scale winning campaigns while managing CAC and ensuring ROI targets are met
- Collaborate with founders and other stakeholders to align marketing efforts with business objectives
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in performance marketing and apply that knowledge to continuously improve campaign performance
What We Are Looking For
- Hands-on experience with Meta Ads and Google Ads, with a strong track record of success in performance marketing
- Background in D2C or e-commerce marketing, with a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities in this space
- Ability to execute campaigns with minimal supervision and take ownership of results
- Strong data analysis and interpretation skills, with the ability to turn insights into actionable decisions
- Experience with Shopify and GA4, or similar tracking and attribution systems
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with founders and other stakeholders
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment
Nice to Have
- Experience with other marketing channels, such as email or social media marketing
- Certification in Google Ads or Meta Ads, or similar professional qualifications
- Experience with A/B testing and experimentation to drive campaign optimization
